In 1942, he organized the smuggling of members of his movement from Slovakia to Eretz Israel (Palestine). Nesher was captured and arrested in the Garany detention camp. During the years 1943-1944, he was a member of the &#8220;Hashomer Hatzair&#8221; leadership.
