He studied in a teachers\u2019 college. At the beginning of 1940 he joined the Sela Organization of \u201cHashomer Hatzair\u201d. Moshe assisted in the absorption of refugees that arrived to Budapest from Slovakia and Poland.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Due to the arrest of Simha Hunwald, one of the movement\u2019s leaders, at the end of April 1942, he and other members were also arrested and sent to the Garany detention camp where he stayed for thirteen months.
