After the Germans invaded Hungary on 19.3.1944, he went underground with documents provided by the movement. He took part in underground activities until the beginning of August when he joined the tiyul and crossed the border into Romania.<br \/>\nHe sailed from Constan\u0163a on the \u201cBulbul\u201d and, at the end of 1944, he arrived in Eretz Israel (Palestine).
