Tzvi ran away from a forced labor unit. He saved his comrades wearing a Hungarian soldier\u2019s and an Arrow Cross uniform. Thanks to his Aryan appearance, blue eyes and light hair, he succeeded in saving some of his friends from the Death March. Tzvi supplied equipment and forged documents to people hiding in bunkers. He was caught by the Gestapo, taken to the Majestic Hotel in Buda, interrogated and tortured but his comrades from the movement succeeded in liberating him. He resumed his underground activities until the Red Army conquered the town. He made aliya, got an M.A. in history at the Tel-Aviv University and taught in high schools.
