Dov was a central figure of \u201cHapoel Hamizrahi\u201d in Slovakia from the 1930\u2019s. As a representative of the movement Dov was a member of the delegation to the Zionist Congress in Basel held prior to the outbreak of WW II. In 1943, together with his wife Miriam, he moved to Hungary and in Budapest he became a member of the \u201cBnei Akiva\u201d leadership. He mainly took care of the Jewish refugees arriving from Slovakia. Dov was a member of the Relief and Rescue Committee on behalf of \u201cBnei Akiva\u201d and as a representative of the refugees. He corresponded with the members of the Eretz-Israel delegation in Istanbul.
\nDove made aliya on 7.3.1944. He was active in the institutions of \u201cHapoel Hamizrahi\u201d and the manager of the Mashhav construction enterprise. He died in Israel.
