Moshe joined \u201cHashomer Hatzair\u201d in the late 1930\u2019s. During the war he was an underground activist and distributed forged documents. He went on missions to the country towns. During such a mission Moshe was caught and deported to Auschwitz. After the liberation he returned to Hungary and was among the founders of Kibbutz \u201cEhad BeMay\u201d. In 1946 Moshe made aliya with his wife, Tova, and was one of the founders of Kibbutz Yassur.
