Nurit\u2019s sister, Trudi, was caught by the Hungarian police but, with help from Peretz R\u00e9v\u00e9sz, Nurit managed to set her free. Nurit left Hungary at the end of June 1944 on the Relief and Rescue Committee train. In September 1945 she made aliya. She was a member of Kfar Hahoresh.
