Moshe was brought up in a religious Jewish family. He studied in a teachers’ college. At the beginning of 1940 he joined the Sela Organization of “Hashomer Hatzair”. Moshe assisted in the absorption of refugees that arrived to Budapest from Slovakia and Poland.
Due to the arrest of Simha Hunwald, one of the movement’s leaders, at the end of April 1942, he and other members were also arrested and sent to the Garany detention camp where he stayed for thirteen months. Because of his great sensitivity, he lost his strength and committed suicide.
