Giora joined the movement in the early 1930’s. He moved to Budapest and stayed at the hostel for working youngsters on Zöldmáli Street. Later he worked as a nurse in a Jewish hospital. After the German invasion on 19.3.1944, as he knew some Slovak, Giora moved to Slovakia, joined the uprising in Banská Bystrica and fought as a partisan.
Giora made aliya and joined Kibbutz Ga’aton. He left the kibbutz. Giora died in a road accident.
