In 1942 Moshe moved to Budapest and joined “Hehalutz Hatzair” which later became “Dror Habonim”. In January and February 1944 he shared an apartment with his brother, Shmuel, and other comrades. Together they planned resistance and rescue operations. After the Germans invaded Hungary on 19.3.1944, Moshe was sent to the Carpatho-Ruthenia region to rescue comrades with the help of forged documents. When he returned to Budapest, Moshe became active in the underground. He left Hungary on the train of the Relief and Rescue Committee. He made aliya and worked in the Israel Military Industries.
