Shlomo was a member first of “Dror Habonim” and later of “Maccabi Hatzair”. He was enlisted in a forced labor unit, deserted with other members of the movement and arrived in the bunker in Hüvösvölgy. At the beginning of December 1944 the bunker was discovered by the fascists and all the dwellers were transferred to the military prison on Margit Boulevard. Shlomo was liberated by a daring operation of the Zionist underground on 25.12.1944 and arrived in Wekerle Street. After the liberation he was among the founders of the “Ehad BeMay” garin. In October 1948, Shlomo made aliya and joined Kibbutz Yassur. In 1950 he left the kibbutz. He was an English teacher.
