Rahel obtained Aryan documents from the office of the Population Registry, i.e. she found a fictitious name, copied real names from the population register and issued authentic documents. Rahel also distributed those documents. At the beginning of June she left Budapest in order to escape across the border near Nagyvárad into Romania. On the train with her, were comrades from the movement, Hanna Cohen and Simeon Levi who were caught during an inspection of the train. Rahel managed to reach Romania. In November 1944 she left Bucharest on her way to Eretz Israel (Palestine). She arrived in Haifa, was transferred to the Atlit camp where she stayed for three weeks. Later, with a group of friends, Rahel joined Kibbutz Nitzanim. She now lives in the USA.
