At the age of fourteen Avraham learned carpentry and joined the movement. After the Germans invaded Hungary on 19.3.1944, he engaged in the collection of documents and photos for further use. While traveling on a Budapest tramway, Avraham was caught with other Jews. Thanks to his profession he was sent to the Kistarcsa detention camp while the other Jews were deported to Auschwitz. His movement decided to transfer Avraham to Romania within the framework of the tiyul. Two attempts to slip across the border failed and on his second attempt he was caught and deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau. Avraham made aliya and became a member of Kfar Hahoresh. After he left the kibbutz, he taught carpentry. Avraham lives in Nahariya.
