After graduating from high school Viktor studied at the Institute of Technology in Prague. In 1942 he arrived illegally in Budapest. For about a year he worked as a clerk and was active in the movement. According to the movement’s demand, Viktor quit his job and became the movement’s treasurer a job he kept until the Germans invaded Hungary on 19.3.1944. Viktor organized a workshop for the forgery of documents. He was considered to be the first forger of his movement. In the laboratory he dealt primarily with the technical aspect of duplicating documents. Viktor specialized in the collection of relevant materials for forgery such as the list of churches in Hungary, policemen’s notepads with the list of streets etc. In addition, he kept track of the new regulations and instructions in the daily papers so that the forged documents would match the changing requirements. Viktor took care of the distribution of the forged documents. After the fascist Arrow Cross Party rose to power, he took part in additional rescue operations. Viktor made aliya. For years he worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He resides in Jerusalem.
