Zehava joined the movement in Košice at the age of fourteen. For a while she was active in Miskolc and arrived in Budapest in March 1944.
She was the main assistant of Andy Freiman, who was the commander of “Beitar” and in charge of the underground operations. Zehava was a liaison officer among the members of the movement, helped build bunkers and buy weapons. For a while she worked in the “Glass House” on 29, Vadász Street.
She made aliya in 1949 and in 1950 she married Shmuel Becker.
