Yitzhak joined the movement at the age of thirteen. After the German invaded Hungary on 19.3.1944, he was enlisted in forced labor unit. Thanks to forged documents from the movement he managed to escape. Miraculously he was not caught and reached Budapest. Yitzhak was sent by the movement to a bunker in a farm courtyard close to Budapest and later arrived in the “Glass House” on 29, Vadász Street where he was liberated in January 1945. After the liberation Yitzhak collected Jewish orphans. He made aliya in June 1949. He was a member of Kfar Hahoresh. In his later years he lived in the Protea pensioner’s village.
