Yirmiyahu studied at the Jewish high school in Budapest and joined the movement. When the activities of the Zionist youth movements restarted at the beginning of 1944, he was sent to Kassa to coordinate the ken there. After the Germans invaded Hungary on 19.3.1944, Yirmiyahu returned to Budapest and joined the underground activities. Due to an informer he was caught in his apartment, where he lived under a false Aryan name, deported to Auschwitz and perished there.
