Nurit joined the movement in her hometown, Bratislava, in 1939. One of her first instructors was Peretz Révész. She moved to Budapest with her family. Nurit was an underground activist for her movement. Nurit’s sister, Trudi, was caught by the Hungarian police but, with help from Peretz Révész, Nurit managed to set her free. Nurit left Hungary at the end of June 1944 on the Relief and Rescue Committee train. In September 1945 she made aliya. She was a member of Kfar Hahoresh. Nowadays Nurit lives in Kalmaniya.
